I can't help with the data base of deaths for Ellis Island, but this made me
wonder if there was any similar data base of deaths prior to that at Castle
Garden. I'm missing an immigrant (came over in 1869 and is missing on the
1870 census) and I think he (13 years old) died. Any such data base around?
