I have a similar scenario but family all ended up in Philadelphia. Do not
hear many mentions of landings there. Can anyone suggest if many immigrants
who settled in Philadelphia did indeed land in NY or Boston? Seems an
awfully long way to travel by land to make sense. Just wondering if it is
worth my while this winter to look at the NY microfilms first or find
something for Phila and start there.....
