Hi all,
My cousin has access to a family photo album, believed to contain members of an american branch of her BERG family. (Her grandfather was Axel BERG b. 1899 Denmark and is believed to be the only member of his family to have come to Australia.)
This album contains some photos of sailors and shipping yards, inluding pics of the SS John Tracy (New York) which we guess is a cargo ship and wonder if maybe her g'dad or his US rels worked on it. Several photos are of people, with danish writing on the backs, of which we can clearly see "Oscar 11" and April 1926 written.
Can anyone help please with any info re the John Tracy, or with passenger lists for the Oscar 11, Apr 1926. (Probably Copenhagen > NY)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Andy.
