Hi Donald from New York City - The Chelsea Piers are on the Lower West Side
of Manhattan, from 14th Street up to 34th Street. They were active until
the
1950s, but were damaged by port corruption and opening of more modern
alternatives (including containerports) on the New Jersey side of the Hudson
River. "Chelsea Piers" today is the name of a sports complex that has
