Hi Maureen,

It seems that he was engaged in the Australian coastal trade and spent most
of his career with the North Coast Steam Navigation Co, Sydney. I have
managed to trace some of his ships (see below), but the company apparently
closed in 1954. I don't know where the company records are, but the
Australian National Maritime Museum may be able to tell you. There is a
little info on the company at
