Hi Ron (and anyone else having trouble with Ellis Island
manifests)

As you discovered, some of the manifests are linked
incorrectly on Ellis Island. Isaac's index results of p.
0037, line 539 lead to the ship Germanic, not Werkendam.

So you would next go to Missing Manifests at
http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/EIDB/

Read the instructions how to use this, but briefly, you put
in your date (May 12, 1893). Where it says Frame is where
you put the page # but if you do this you will just get the
ship Germanic again. So -- what I did was look for the date
of the Germanic (it was May 6). You want May 12 so I
started adding frames (pages) til I get to the right date,
and then I just looked til I found Werkendam!

Maybe there's an easier way; I don't know one though.

I'll give you a break <g> The page number for Isaac is 441
so put that in the Frame field and hit DISPLAY

Isaac is the 2nd name down but you aren't going to learn
much more than you lalready knew, except that he's going to
New York.

Have fun!
