They are apparently in good health, and intend residing in this neighbourhood, having taken Lyneham, the property of Mr J G Bultee. No intelligence of consequence has transpired at Quebec between the time of the proclamation of the new governor, Mr G P Thomson, and the period of the departure of the Pique. THE PRESIDENT STEAM SHIP - On 9th December, at half-past three o'clock, this magnificent steam ship was floated out (not launched) from the dock where she was built at Messrs Curling and Young's, ship builders, at Limehouse, into the Thames, amidst the cheers of many thousands of spectators. The tide was not sufficiently high on Saturday to float her, and great was the disappointment to the people assembled; but since that time a great quantity of ballast has been taken out of her, and yesterday, half an hour before high water, she was towed out of the dock by three Greenwich steamers, and proceeded down the river to Black wall where she was safely moored. She will remain in her present situation for a few weeks, when she will proceed to Liverpool to take in her engines and machinery.
