Hi Susi,
Don was right, it was the DWINSK. I think the ship actually arrived on
August 9th, but maybe late in the day as the passengers weren't landed
until the next day.
T-4754 DWINSK (RA) Russian-American Line
Libau, Russia 1914-07-28 Halifax, N.S. 1914-08-10 / New York, NY
1914-08-13
first officer: O. Gelse
There is also a manifest index record for this arrival too. It might be
easier to read. The microfilm reel number for that is T-5564. I don't
believe the LDS have copies of those manifest index reels, so you would
have to borrow it by inter-library-loan from the National Archives of
Canada. (the manifest index of the passengers was compiled by immigration
officials after arrival) If the family continued to the US after arriving
at Halifax, then there is a whole other record set, the CAN-US border
records / passenger lists, the St. Albans lists . .check out "Canada
Records" here, for more info

Congratulations on your find. This always gives hope to others searching
the Canadian records during the unindexed period. :-}
