I've been trying to hunt down what trains my Grandparents might have
taken from their immigration ports to Chicago. I haven't been able to
find much information. I'm looking for a representative train that
traveled their route and a photo or illustration - nothing more
specific than that.
Specifically, I'm looking for a train from Ellis [I believe they were
ferried to New Jersey] to Chicago in 1902/02.
Also, a possible train from Baltimore to Chicago in 1886.
I've looked around the net and have been to the local library, but
haven't found much. Any ideas?
