She arrived in August at port F Any

There is a large book to be found in many Australian
libraries " Arrivals and Departures of ships to Victorian
Ports" edited by Martin SYME. This should at least tell
you what sort of ship this was and give you full date of
when it arrived . Armed with that info you could then
check say film of the Argus newspaper to see if there's
anymore about this ship

This mailing list covers a large chunk of the world and
the ships that sailed / steamed across it .
There is more than one place called Victoria so it pays
to be precise about locations and always a good move it
to give clue to your own location , particularly when
posting on foreign lists. I have no way of knowing
whether you have a nearby library that has this book or
one that would have films of the Argus newspaper

Happy Hunting
