Success. I found James Dillon, my friend's grandfather, on the Lake
Winnipeg arriving Montreal on 5/28/1882. His naturalization papers were incorrect;
the year stated was 1887. I searched all the Lake Winnipeg passenger lists
coming into Montreal and the 1882 list was the charm. My friend will be so
happy; this will make her day. Thanks to these lists going on line --
