Subject: [TSL] Shipwreck off Mauritius about 1866?
Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2007 23:07:26 +1000
Hello Everyone,
A little more information to hand in my search
for the shipwreck that Thomas Henry BREAKELL survived as an infant.
This information from The National Library of Mauritius..
"According to the newspaper 'Le Cernéen' of 12
February 1866, the English Ship 'Caprera' from
Calao wrecked at Pointe aux Canonniers on 11 February 1866."
I found the following information googling & this
might be the ship I'm after but I don't
understand the references or where to look now for more information...
Any suggestions please?
Regards, Vicki
