Bobby,

I found this webpage about DPs who were staying at Schloss Wilhelmsthal
(2nd link) . .
http://www.dpcamps.org/dpcampsGermanySa-So.html
http://www.dpcamps.org/wilhelmsthal.html
. . and who had left by rail from Schweinfurt in 1949, to Naples, for Sydney.

On the same page is an expanation of IRO "International Relief
Organization," but I don't know what the "S" stands for.

btw. there is still a US base at Schweinfurt
http://www.schweinfurt.army.mil/sites/local/

I don't even know if they were Greek, but could G.C. stand for Greek
Catholic, as opposed to G.O. for Greek Orthodox ?
