First, there were several ships by this name. This is your ship.

From the London Times of Dec 29, 1854 in the shipping news:
LIVERPOOL, Dec. 28.
Wind, N.
Sailed.--...the Gambia, the Eagle, and the Cambridge, for Melbourne...

I cannot find any other info on her in the Times. I did find her here

and the Government reports says she is 567 tons.
