I am looking for details of the Shaw Saville Line ship M.V. Karamea ,
O/N 149326, Southampton Registered 1928 & broken up in the 1960's. I
know that the vessel carried refrigerated cargo from Australia & NZ &
was at sea ex NZ for the UK when WW2 broke out in September 1939. I
found photos of the Karamea on www.photo*ship*.co.uk/ - , but would like
technical details, tonnage, dimensions, engines etc.. . Don't know where
to look & would appreciate help.
