That would most likely be mentioned in a newspaper. You do not
mention to which port she was sailing but I do see the arrival of the
vessel in the NY Times of June 21, 1858.

Bark Aristides, (Ham.) Swedenburg, Bremen 58 ds., with mdse and 253
passengers to Stanton & Ruger. Had 2 deaths on the passage.

If this is the vessel -- I checked to see if there was any mention of
the disease but there was not until June 26, when a vessel from
"British Guinna" arrived with "coolies" and 86 of them died of cholera.
