Subject: [UFT-L] UFT vs. FTW

Howard Nurse owned Commsoft (publisher of Roots), then sold it to
Palladium (who renamed it Ultimate Family Tree), who sold it to
Broderbund, who was sold to The Learning Company, who was sold to
Mattel.

BK is Brothers Keeper (genealogy shareware program).

FTW is FTM for Windows. I recently bought it, because it does
really good ASCII indented descendant reports (which it calls
Outline View). It is 32-bit and therefore "behaves" better than
UFT, but in other respects it is no better than and in some ways
inferior to UFT. My opinion.
