Bob, I understand to write "as is". The name Elizabeth is shortened to Eliz
with a "th" written smaller and higher up beside the "z". Does one enter
"Elizth" or "Eliz'th". The same with Thomas - is it Thos or Th'os and
Margaret is it "Margrt" or "Marg'rt" or Georgiana (Georgina) to Georga or
Georg'a.
I think my enumerator was getting tired so he started abreviating as much
as possible.
