RG091755 folio 85 page 4

Sched 20 Geo Webb - POB?

It's HEF and it looks like Bridstaid but I can't find any place like that

Sched 21 - What gives here - can't make out the name and no other entries?
It reads "returned in no 20" - the person living there was included on the
sch for no 20 ignore it, call it a void schedule number

Sched 22 Matilda Elen? Powell

Matilda Clara

Sched 23 Ann Downs - POB?
Salop Stokee SAL Stoke

Sched 24 Wife Eliziah? Nelms and forename son aged 3.
It's NELMS because NOLMS on FrreBMD draws a zero. Wife is Elizah short for
Elizabeth. The children seem to have been born before James and Elizabeth
married so they are not NELMS on FreeBMD. Son is .....bert? but I have no idea
what the beginning is.

RG091755 folio 86 page 6

I have two strange schedule entries - 34

Reads "returned in another" just enter that schedule number as void

and 38 - any thoughts on these?

It looks as if it was someone who was entered in the Census somewhere else.
Just treat it as a void schedule number

Sched 36 Reverend TG ???. Also do I include the title in the name Revd TG or
perhaps TG (Revd) - can't recall this!

Second one, T G (Revd)

Occupation is not entirely clear either ______tical Curate of Saint Johns
Church.

It looks like the perpical curate ...? ...? Saint Johns. I think that I
would put Curate of Saint Johns and let a researcher work out the rest!

Sched 36 John Hughes - some kind of Worker?

Iron worker

Sched 37 Daughter Harriet Salkild?? Whatmough. POB is York Gisburo? CHP
would be NRY?

Its WHATMOUGH - Harriet Salkild POB reads York Gisboro so use CHP YKS
Gisboro'. Don't correct places of birth when you transcribe. Just query it and
put it in you notes. Correcting places is for the Validator to do

Hope that helps Derek. The writing can only get better
