Dennis
Another elusive twig to the tree!
I have had a few, one turned up in the army in another county so that is
a possibility.
Being in the cotton business maybe he was sent overseas to supervise the
collection, not exactly sure what an overlooked does.

My quest is to find a William Greenwood aged 30 described as an
overlooker on his wedding certificate dated 1873. His wife appears as a
married woman in the 1881 1891 and 1901 censuses in the Habergham Eaves,
Burnley area of England, but never a sign of her husband apart from
their son's birth certificate in 1887.

Any suggestions?
