I have a CdV which is annotated with "Mrs Chataway & daughter Mildred".

Users of the www.whatsthatpicture.com site have suggested a census
record that possibly traces this to a Mildred Chataway born in Leicester
in 1870.

Can anyone confirm my own instincts that this card would indeed have
dated from the early 1870s? It has a very simple printed back (sorry,
not fully shown) and I do suspect that the curved corners are actually
just damaged, and would originally have been square. Finally, and I
guess this is aimed at Sandy, does anyone have any dates for the Burton
Studio in Hay Market , Leicester?
