The Colthouse in Hawkshead (Lorraine's suggestion) looks very possible.

I have seen mention of a Colt Park in Lower Aldingham in Aldingham parish.
It appears to be between Newbiggin and Aldingham and is close to Moat Farm
and Gleaston Park.

So, at least you have a couple of possibilities there.
