Hello Bren,
sometimes births went unregistered i have had a few occasions when searches
have come to nothing, but found a route through brothers and sisters, which
shuoldn,t be too difficult with an uncommon name.I have found a register of the
death of a william greenhalgh in 1901 aged 73
vol 9c page 92 pontefract, hope this is some use.
