Hello all,

I'm a new subscriber to this mailing list since I am also researching some ancestors of mine that were watchmakers. In just a couple of days I've already benefitted from the resources some of you have supplied. I also emailed the clockmakers of London and received an answer in less than 24 hrs. As one of you mentioned, they must be really wondering about all this new traffic. My ancestors Robert and Charles Muncaster were not registered but George White was able to give me the addresses that they worked from in London. He also gave me a little info on other Muncasters who also were watchmakers in other parts of the UK. I was very impressed with his pleasant, speedy and informative response.

Stephen, if you wouldn't mind looking up the Muncasters in that book you mentioned, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe there is some additional info on them.
