Good evening all

Have just joined this list hoping someone can assist with the following
request.

In the will of Robert Meech (1799) of St Lukes Islington - it states he
was a watchmaker.
An executor was -Andrew Reed,watchmaker, of the Strand.

If someone has access to the book 'British Clockmakers and Watchmakers
Apprentice Records
1710 - 1810 by Dennis Moore could they look and see if either Meech or
Reed are mentioned in the book.

I have found mention on a clockmakers site that Andrew Reed was from
Dorset and I think Robert
Meech was also from that area. I am trying to establish exactly where in
Dorset they are from..
Hoping it will be mentioned in apprenticeship records.
