Thanks Jan for introducing this new list.

My first query is a simple one, I hope. Who in Institutions actually
instigated registration of a death. My SRN wife, in her hospital
days, would arrange for the 'Doctor on Duty' to call by, the body
would then be sent off to the hospital morgue having been duly 'Laid
Out' if appropriate - but then?? ( She got on with helping the next
one after, with luck, a cuppa!)

Who actually reported the death. Presumably the family, if available
would do this if they so wished, but in default it must have been
someone's responsibility to ensure the matter was properly carried
forth with respect to the requirements of the day
