Hello Renee,
I found a general reference to Hanwood Asylum (lunatics) in the
following reference material:
"The Nineteenth Century General Collection"
Published in London
by Chadwyck Healey in association with the British Library (1986).
There were 3 microfiche on Hanwood Asylum. I looked at it briefly some
time ago and copied a plan of the layout of buildings, titled "General
Plan of the Pauper Lunatic Asylum for Middlesex". I think it was a
general look at the care and condition of the inmates/patients. I don't
recall any lists of names.
I can look again more closely if you aren't able to locate the
collection in your library.
There are over 7000 references in the General Collection and many have
more than one microfiche of information.
Regards,
Sue in Brisbane, Australia
