Thank you very much for that information, I wonder could you tell me whether
like the Union Workhouse's the Union Infirmary was also for poor
underprivelidged people. My ggrandfather who had been in the Coldstream
guards for almost 10 years, until being stepped down as unfit for duty, was
described on his death certificate as a porter.
