Hi Pauline,
The Kingston upon Hull City Record Office hold the Staff Service register
for 1900-1936 and also some ledgers and committee minutes for much the same
period.

There are also Staff Registers at the Public Record Office at Kew, but the
locally held ones are more likely to be more informative.
