Hi - I dont know about the hospital records - but in thsoe days women where
often put into mental hospitals for having illegitimate babies - and left
there. Not usually as late as that - although I have come acroos people in
mental hospitals about 20 years ago who had been born there and always been
in them - some of them where huge self-supporting communties,
