St Giles (in the Fields) Workhouse in London became part of the Holborn
Union and the surviving records are held at the London Metropolitan Archives
with most of the earliest records (1830-1868) held at Holborn Library with
indexes at the LMA.
There were several Workhouses in the St Giles area, the earliest one appears
to have been in Vinegar Yard.
