A great offer! Thanks!
I am interested in all aspects of workhouses/asylums & not just in Brum.My
great great Grandfather died in 1906 in Caxton workhouse .I couldn't
understand why he was not on the 1901 for any of the local villages (I was
lucky to see the fiches at PRO ).I sent for his death certificate & there he
was.Still not found his wife after the 1881 & she was not in the workhouse.
So it is all very intriguing & need the 1901 index to find her!
Cheers for now
Andrea
