Hi
Can anyone tell me if you died in the workhouse was it always the Master that
registered the death?
I have a death certificate of possibly an ancestor, but he had adult sons &
daughters, when he died in the workhouse.
Was it usual for the family to be told to register or if they were also
inmates was the job then left to the Master.?
