Friends

In the 1851 Census two siblings of my GtGtGrandfather were listed as
resident in the Worcester Workhouse at Tallow Hill

Charles NASH aged 14 Tailor's Apprentice Born Claines/WOR

Harriet " aged 11 no emp. Given Born Claines/WOR

Their father John died in 1840

In 1841 Census they are listed with Mother Sarah NASH in York Buildings

Plus two other siblings Walter aged 11 and Arthur Alfred aged 8 ( my
GtGtGrandfather,in 1851 census aged 18 in Kidderminster.)

Sarah's death I haven't as yet located - but she is not on 1851 Census
so presume, bet. The two census.

I have not been able to locate further information on Charles - Walter
and Harriet - I located a Death in Droitwich for a Harriet Nash in
1915, the age is correct - but I have no way of knowing whether this is
our Harriet. ( there is Birth in Droitwich ,Reg. March ½ 1840 for a
Harriet Nash, do the death may well be her.

Does anyone know if Apprenticeship records - for Worcester are
available, i.e. Apprentices I presume arranged by Workhouse.

I know there is a list at PRO, for private apprentices on which stamp
duty was paid. But in these circumstances stamp duty would not be
levied.
