Looking for Elizabeth WINSPEAR and her siblings in 1851:
An Elizabeth WINSPEAR of the right age is in the list:
1868 - Whitby Poor Law Union - Payments at Lealholm:
Ann Bonas, Hannah Castillo, Robt Newton, Ann Cornforth, ELIZABETH
WINSPEAR, Mary and Margaret Burrows, Wm Dale, Luke Wedgwood, Ann
Wood.

If Elizabeth was the daughter of John WINSPEAR, b. Whitby, NRY, c. 1816,

m. 10 Dec 1845 at Danby in Cleveland, Yorks (IGI) and Jane LAW, b.
Egton, NRY, c. 23 May 1822, Egton (IGI), parents George LAW and Jane
(unknown), she would have been 15 or 16 in 1868. Her father John died
suddenly in 1858 aged 41. Elizabeth was born in 1852, c. 19 Sep 1852 at

Glaisdale.

Does anyone have detailed information on the Whitby Poor Law Union in
this period, or at the 1871 census to see if Elizabeth was still in the
poor house then, and what her age was either in 1868 or 1871. If
birthplace was given, was it Glaisdale? Were any of her siblings in the

poor house too? They were:
George WINSPEAR, 4 in 1851, c. 10 Jun 1846
Ellen WINSPEAR (Eleanor), 3 in 1851 b. 31 Mar 1848, c. 30 Apr 1848
Robert Law WINSPEAR, c.7 Apr 1850
Jane Ann WINSPEAR, c.19 Sep 1852 and
William WINSPEAR, c. 17 May 1857, all at Glaisdale, Yorkshire.

Any lookups or other help welcomed.
