Hi list

This is my first letter to the list.


I am trying to find out the whereabouts of any records of the above
workhouse from 1840. I have tried the Warwickshire records office and
they don't seem to have anything before 1860.

I have a birth certificate of George Pargeter born in the Shipston on
Stour Workhouse in June 1840 and am trying to find
out if there would be any other information available that might point
me in the direction of a possible father of the child
