This should be in an Admission Register, if it survives.

Check either the court records of the Petty Sessions for the area of
birth, or the newspaper covering that area at the relevant time (about
3+ weeks after the birth) If the mother applied for maintenance, this
sill include the name of the father and his address/location. If she
did not apply, it suggests she was being kept regularly by him, and the
census may help. In 1891, for instance, she may have been living with
him.
