Hello

I am doing some research into life within a workhouse around 1900 - 1920,
i.e. what it was like for families, being split up etc. I am particularly
interested life in the Children's Hostels. Also, if anyone has any
knowledge, information regarding the Burslem and Wolstanton Workhouse at
Chell, Stoke-on-Trent, I would be pleased to hear from them. I am writing
generally but would welcome specifics if they were available. I have
Charles Shaw's book "When I was a Child," but that was from a much earlier
period.

Any help would be appreciated.
