Paypal assesses a percentage of the amount sent. It is not a large amount
but for the current group, 4 transfers cost US$20 in total.

I don't mind donating my time but I am less magnanimous (sp?) with my money.

So, in the future, anyone sending money to me via Paypal (and that would be
most overseas folks) please add in another $5 to the payment as the charges
averaged about that. It is still a bargain in comparison to the bank
transfer fees of $25!
