Seems as if some morons are at it again--I have gotten at least 4 different
virus alerts in the past 3 days. So:
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER open a file
with ".exe" at the end if you a) weren't expecting such a file, b) if the
message and subject line make no sense (these are often sent by people's
whose first langauge is NOT English). It is wise, in general NEVER to open
an attachment you weren't expecting EVEN IF THE SENDER IS SOMEONE YOU
KNOW!!! Viruses get into folks' mail programs (particularly Outlook) and
just send themselves out automatically to everyone on the person's address
list AND THE PERSON NEVER KNOWS ABOUT IT.
You ALL should have any anti-virus program in your computer that either
checks your incoming mail automatically or that you can manually check
attachments.
ANY ATTACHMENT should ALWAYS be checked. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS
Vigilantly yours,
Anita Citron
