Thanks, Robert, for the Christopher Ash info. Not boring at all. Since you
also go back to James C. UNDERWOOD (born on May 2, 1821 by the way), you may
or may not have this tidbit. Hanna HUGHES [daughter of Jonathan and
Abigail JACKSON HUGHES] and Adam ASH [son of Christopher and Lovina SWIGER
ASH] were the parents of Rachel ASH who married James C. UNDERWOOD. Hanna
HUGHES ASH was the sister of Rachel HUGHES who married William F. DAVIS.
Rachel and William F. Davis were the parents of Elizabeth H. DAVIS who
married my g grandfather, Zane UNDERWOOD who was also a brother to James C.
UNDERWOOD.

You married "kin" or "kin of kin" in those days. And look what it produced
- us. Couldn't be all bad
