Barren County Funeral Home records. The oldest funeral
home in Glasgow started in 1899 and was operated by
about 3-4 others before becoming Hatcher and Saddler
Funeral Home – 2 blocks from our house. The next
funeral home began ca 1929 here in town, A F Crow and
Son. . I have all their records transcribed through
1965. There were other neighborhood undertakers in
several communities, but their records have
disappeared over time. I just ran them through the
early 60’s. The following was “off the clock” in the
hopes that if you get everyone sorted out you’ll
already have the information.

died of cerebral thrombosis. Survived by 5 sons: Boss
