Hi,
A few months ago, I started the Boston States Migration web page and email
list. We provide online resources to track families migrating between the
Canadian Eastern Provinces, New England and New York through the centuries.

On Saturday October 2, we are sponsoring a regional event in Waltham, MA. We
have speakers for some of the more recent migration patterns, since lots of
beginners are just getting started on the last 100-200 years. But there are
plenty of folks who don't even know yet about their Loyalist branches or how
to identify them.

We are looking for volunteers to take turns during the day answering general
questions and providing research tips or references for Loyalist issues at the
Oct 2 event. We will have general resource tables for each province and state
in the region, but would also like to provide a Loyalist Q&A "booth".


Also, if you are not able to attend, you might want to send along your own
"Wanted Poster", queries or family histories so that you can reach a
non-Internet audience!

We also have a few slots open in the informal amphitheatre that seats 35
bleacher style, so it is also possible to schedule a discussion time on this
topic. Loyalists represent a large group of the families that moved back and
forth in this region.
