i am presently researching the family of Nathan and Beulah (nee Parks)
Winchester, who left their home in Framingham, Mass and settled in Nova
Scotia in 1759. This family of Pre-Loyalists originally settled in the
Township of Annapolis, NS. Most of the family stayed in the Annapolis/Digby
area. there were 5 sons, Josiah, Isaac, John, William and Spencer and 3
daughters, i believe.as far as i am aware this is the only Winchester family
who lived in the Annapolis/Digby area of Nova Scotia from 1759-1860 and
perhaps later.

my great great grandmother, Mary M. Winchester is a descendant of Nathan
Winchester. She married a Thomas James Morgan and lived in the Town of
Portland (Saint John, NB)from about 1855 until her early death in 1862. She
was from the St. Mary's Bay area , born circa 1825.i have been unable to
determine,however, her father or grandfather.

If anyone is researching this name, please respond with details of your
research. i can send more info later if you think we might have a common
ground of research.
