Probably brothers and probably sons of a Loyalist; Gilbert, Thomas and David
Barnes are on land in Northumberland County, Haldimand Twp. (Canada), in
1826. It's also possible that one of them is the father of the other two.

Does anyone else know of Barnes who ended up in Ontario after the
Revolution? Or perhaps they went first to New Brunswick in the 1783 Spring
Fleet ouster from New York and then eventually moved west through Prince
Edward County and into Northumberland County. (Apparently there were some
Barnes who settled in Kings Co. N.B. One of them is a Thomas Barnes, but
it's unlikely this is my Thomas. A relative maybe??)

Any suggestions for me as to where in New England to look for this Barnes
branch?

Thanks for any help anyone can give.
