Those who received grants as Loyalists,as appears by the Crown
Lands records,included Eliakim Malcolm & his brothers James,
Hugh,Charles and Duncan ,all sons of Finlay Malcolm; Eleanor Doyle,
dau of Benjamin Doyle; Lavina Sage,wife of Allan Sage & dau of John File;
Elizabeth Lennington of Dumfries wife of William L & dau of David
VanEvery; Eleanor Ellis wife of Henry & dau of Ed.McMichael of
Walsingham; Anna Mudge,Dumfries,wife of Ed.M & dau of Stephen
Middaugh; Abraham Nelles,son of Robert Nelles of Grimsby; Jesse
Millard of Oakland,son of Dan M; Asa Secord,Oakland,son of John S;
Sarah Baker,Oakland,wife of Elias B & dau of Dan'l Millard; Rebecca
Beamer,wife of George B & dau of Benj.Doyle; Charlotte Hawley,wife
of Henry H & dau of John Files (her grant was 200A in Twp of Enniskillen).
Hugh Clark,Burford; Sam Doyle son of Benj.; Matthias Woodley,Oakland,
son of Geo.W; Richard Boulsby,Buck's Company Volunteers; Thomas
Boulsby,volunteer in Cap't Thomas' company; Martha Baker,wife of John B
and dau of Chas Burtch of Burford Gore; Delia Fowler,dau & Thos and
Wm Fowler,sons of John Fowler; Jane Corlis,late of Jane Mount,Burford
Gore,wife of Swain C & dau of Chas Burtch; Sarah Eddy,Burford Gore,
