For Mary Earle Garrison --
There are apparently no surviving nominal 1842 census returns for any
places in Frontenac County. Sometimes there are aggregate (numbers only)
statistics, which is why the NA census catalogue appears to have some.
The census records published by Kingston Branch OGS have no reference to
any 1842 returns, nor does their booklet "Tracing Your Ancestors in
Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Counties" (Aitken & Broughton, Kingston
Branch OGS, 1987).
