Hi again Mark,
Leroy Wannamaker and his wife (can't remember her first name right now)
did a lot of early work transcribing cemeteries and genealogical
research in this area. (mostly in the 50s and 60s) Their work on the
Roblins in particular is the best resource I have come across and
straightens out most of the mistakes published in many better known
works, due to similar names in several lines and people wanting their
line to be of the Loyalist ones. I think their newspaper articles were
published in the Picton Gazette (newspaper), Picton, Ont. These were
gathered into a book of sorts and they did include genealogy charts up
to that time and donated the books to local libraries. The books were
not professionally published (that I know of). They worked in the days
before computers, their works are not indexed and they have both passed
on now. The library here in Trenton has/had a copy and I will do a
lookup for you, if, you are not in a hurry. (I also had a Roblin
ancestor) I need specific info for a lookup.
Carole
