Hello Dee Jessop, I am sorry but I don't have this particular book,
but if it helps you a little, in

"The Loyalists in Ontario" by William D. Reid, on page 75 it gives
one only 'Jessup" quotation, under Covell, Simon,
Susannah, married Edward Jessup Jr., of Augusta, O.C. 29 June 1799.

Of course, everybody knows the 'Jessup's Rangers' and there is much
written about them in lots of books.
