The Archives of Ontario hold the private papers of Peter Robinson ... they
are a private record group F61 (not government records) They can be viewed
in the main reading room of the Archives in Toronto...they are available on
self serve microfilm in the reading room itself.

However, for those at a distance, many reels of microfilm of Crown Land
Records are available for loan from the Archives of Ontario to a local
library. Included in this rich collection are:

Fiats - Peter Robinson. Grants To Irish Immigrants Under Peter Robinson's
Supervision, 1823-1825.

* Researchers should make use of the Register for Fiats (vol 154) which will
tell you the fiat number for a particular individuals record which can then
be looked up on reel 155 or 156.
